  • I ask for 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session.

If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, the full session fee will be charged. I understand that emergencies and sudden illness do happen, and I'm willing to discuss individual circumstances with compassion and flexibility.

  • To book your first session or to arrange an initial free phone call, please contact me via email at nk@nazaninkamali.com.

I typically respond within 24-48 hours.

  • In-person venues:  Please note that my practice location currently doesn’t have lift access. If you have mobility concerns or other accessibility needs, online sessions via Zoom may be a better option. I'm committed to making therapy accessible and am happy to discuss what arrangements might work for you.

  • I work with adults (18+) from all backgrounds and walks of life. Everyone is welcome here.

My own life has given me particular understanding of certain experiences:

The immigrant experience: I understand navigating multiple cultures, feeling othered and questions of belonging and identity.

Creative industries & business leadership: Having spent over thirty years in art and design as a creative professional, business owner, director, and shareholder, I understand the pressures from multiple perspectives. I know the relentless competition, financial insecurity and constant need to prove yourself. I understand the weight of leadership, the isolation of responsibility, managing teams and partnerships and balancing creative integrity with commercial demands.

Motherhood: I know motherhood, not the idealised version, but the real, complicated experience. Single motherhood. The impossible balance of work and parenting. The physical realities of pregnancy, birth and postpartum. The myths around breastfeeding. The grief of miscarriage. The ways motherhood changes everything.

If these are part of your story, you won't need to explain them to me.

    Limitations

    I work with individuals only.

I don't work with acute crisis situations requiring immediate intervention. If you're in crisis, please contact your GP, NHS 111, 999 or the Samaritans (116 123).tem description

  • Person-centred therapy doesn't require you to fit into a category or arrive with a diagnosis. What matters is that something has brought you here.

Common experiences I work with include:

Grief and loss: Whether through death, relationship endings or other significant losses. Through my work with Cruse Bereavement Support, I have particular depth of experience here.

Anxiety and worry: Persistent unease, racing thoughts, feeling constantly on edge.

Life transitions and uncertainty: Navigating change, crossroads and the destabilising effect of transition.

Relationship difficulties: Patterns, conflicts or struggles in connection with others.

Identity and belonging: Questions of who you are, where you fit, navigating multiple cultures.

Neurodivergence: Living with ADHD, autism, or other ways of experiencing the world.

Low mood and depression: Heaviness, loss of meaning, difficulty with daily life.

Self-esteem: Harsh self-criticism, struggling to see your own worth.

Past experiences that still hurt: Trauma, difficult memories, experiences of discrimination or "othering."

Whatever has brought you here, your experience is valid and deserving of care
